Wagtailcloud wakes up early to see her sister, Hailshimmer yapping about her ex, Burntwhisker to Nightingalebay who isn't exactly paying attention, she gets up and leaves and is met by Silkyheart, her best friend since kit hood, and they decide to talk and walk.
Eventually she finds Silentpaw and takes him on a patrol, and later sees Palequake and Mambapaw yelling at each other and stops them.
