Story Premise

• DarkClan and LightClan are at war.
• After the last battle, DarkClan's medicine cat was killed, and also their second medicine cat turned out to be a serial killer that got exiled from the Clan. DarkClan is struggling. Cocoatiger and Brambleheart keep getting into fights and since no one has herb expertise, their wounds are getting infected. Their insolence wastes the clan's diminishing resources, making it harder to cope with the ongoing war with LightClan. If they don't do anything soon, their clan could all die.
• Ribbonstar sends Cocoatiger and Brambleheart on a quest to find a medicine cat for their clan. They will have to go far. They will have to get closer to save their clan.
• Cocoatiger and Brambleheart's relationship is extremely toxic the more it goes on. Brambleheart seems to feel things too deeply, and cares too much about everything and everyone around her. Meanwhile Cocoatiger is often uncaring and cold to everything and everyone around her, meaning Brambleheart is constantly giving, and Cocoatiger is constantly taking.

• The war between DarkClan and LightClan started out as simple border skirmishes.
• Cocoatiger is born 2 moons before Brambleheart as a loner named Cocoa
• Brambleheart is born as a kittypet named Skibidi Toilet
• Cocoa is abandoned at 3 moons old
• Brambleheart leaves her neglective kittypet home at 9 moons old, Cocoatiger is wandering the forest after being abandoned.
• They meet while Brambleheart is still named Skibidi Toilet
• Cocoa gets a mate at 16 moons old, gets broken up with after two weeks, then has kits at 18 moons old
• Brambleheart realizes LightClan isn't right for her at 17 moons old and leaves, meanwhile Lightsnow feels conflicted and stays.
• Cocoa abandons her kits near LightClan territory at 19 moons old
• Cocoatiger joins DarkClan at 19 moons old while trying and failing to rizz Lightsnow up, and like a dummy, joins the wrong Clan (because Lightsnow lives in LightClan)
• Lightsnow dies to Owlclaw at 20 moons
• Leafpelt is made a deputy at 22 moons old after the old deputy dies to greencough.
• When Leafpelt is 28 moons old, old leader’s last life ends due to old age, which makes Leafstar the new leader of LightClan, and the War becomes more serious.
• When Brambleheart is 38, and Cocoatiger is 40 moons old Foxskitter, DarkClan’s medicine cat, dies to Coconutshade because they want to bring glory to LightClan by killing DarkClan’s medicine cat.

Prologue

Ribbonstar was patrolling the DarkClan and LightClan border with Nymphshine, Applebug, Crowtuft, and Geckopaw when they noticed the scent of LightClan warriors on DarkClan’s side of the border. The patrol followed the scent to find a LightClan patrol consisting of Mothflicker, Cherryblossom, and Autumnflower hunting on DarkClan territory! Ribbonstar couldn’t believe their eyes as they watched Mothflicker launch himself at DarkClan’s mouse, and clasp his teeth around its tiny body, killing it.

Ribbonstar leaped out of the brush, “Why are you hunting on DarkClan’s side of the border, Mothflicker? You know where the border between LightClan and DarkClan lies, do you not?” they questioned.

Taken off guard, Mothflicker dropped the mouse and turned towards the DarkClan patrol. “This won’t be DarkClan’s side of the border for long, Ribbonstar, and you know it. After all, this territory was originally LightClan’s, unless you’ve forgotten,” Mothflicker stated, flicking his tail.

Ribbonstar sighs, “we have fought tooth and claw for our land and we are prepared to fight for it if need be, however I should hope it doesn’t come to that.” As the conversation intensifies between the two cats, the rest of the two patrols forms a circle around Mothflicker and Ribbonstar. Finally, Mothflicker turns away, leading the rest of his patrol back across the border, and into LightClan’s hunting grounds. As Ribbonstar’s patrol retreats to camp, the cats can’t help but wonder what will happen if LightClan continues invading DarkClan’s territory.

Paragraph 1

Cocoatiger was hunting in the woods when she first met Brambleheart. Although it was a friendly meeting at first, after hearing Brambleheart’s kittypet name, Skibidi Toilet, Cocoatiger proceeded to mock her kitty-pet name before running off.
