The Catalyst created The Tide, and after being dormant for years and awoke when Seabreeze killed Ashfrost.

The Catalyst had been dormant until Ashfrost's death, leaving CoastClan in peace. But with their awakening the peace was lost and it is up to Seabreeze to find a way to stop them.

The Catalyst, finally awoken meets the cat that 'altered' the balance. Threatening Seabreeze into thinking she caused it, and that now the world must end and be renewed.
