Sharkpaw is a small[1], plump[2], white she-cat[3] with pale gray markings on her body[4] and dark gray eyes[2]. She also has round ears[5] and eyes[6], and a dark gray nose[7] and paw pads[8].
Sharkpaw was a PineClan medicine cat apprentice who served under Dunestar's leadship in the snow forest territories. She was born to Batstar and Sleetpool, though her mother and two siblings died during her birth. She was born with the unusual gift of speaking to animals, but her sympathy for prey and dislike of fighting caused her foster siblings to mock her, and her father, Batwhisper, to push her toward becoming a medicine cat, though Laurelkit liked her. She first trained under Rocketeye, but then her mentor became Pumpkinstripe after Dunestar decided warrior apprenticeship did not suit her. Though often insecure, she became central to the clans’ survival when The Circle’s virus, the Change, began spreading. She witnessed Reefstar murder Spindleclaw but was blackmailed into silence, carrying that secret while she learned healing and slowly bonded with Lemonpaw as he founded ApprenticeClan, even as her heart was broken by Smokypaw’s rejection earlier. During the clans’ struggles, Sharkpaw worked tirelessly to treat the sick, endured the loss of her infected father, and proved her special power to be worthy when she translated The Whispering Breeze's prophecy. Though Pumpkinstripe briefly returned to guide her, Sharkpaw’s own journey ended tragically when she was bitten by a Changed cat and, trapped underground with Lemonpaw, succumbed to the infection. He was forced to kill her, but later Sharkpaw appeared to him in a dream from StarClan, forgiving him and finding peace as Missingfoot’s current apprentice among the stars.
Later, her wisdom and knowledge in StarClan grew, and when Batwhisper became leader, she gave him a life for courage.

Interesting Facts[]
- Batstar named her 'Sharkkit' because he believed she would be a fierce warrior, but he was proven wrong. However, Sharkpaw decided to keep her name just because her father had given it to her.
- She is an exact copy of her mother, Sleetpool, except that Sleetpool was not small or plump.
- She was originally going to be called 'Snowypaw' and participate on the rescue mission to find the cats kidnapped by The Circle.
- Despite Lemonpaw being her only friend, she did find some friendship in his sister, Limepaw, and maybe even Laurelsong.
- Sharkpaw was born with zoolingualism, the ability to speak with animals, but her power was limited as an apprentice, such as the time a sparrow tried to tell her something but all she heard was chirps.
- She is a descendent of Piperflight.
- She has LakeClan blood through Batstar's father, Mantismoon.
Mistakes[]
- She was accidentally written to be a warrior apprentice in Trial of The Circle/Allegiances, however she was supposed to be a medicine cat apprentice then.
- She might be considered fluffy, but she is actually short-furred. This is because she is just a little heavier than an average cat her size.

- Sharkpaw will earn her full medicine cat name in StarClan, and her suffix will be named after a cat she chooses.
- Despite Sharkpaw being the central main protagonist of the Lost Path arc, ashes feels guilty for not giving her as much attention as Jackalsight and Forestdawn, because they are both featured on her page, but Sharkpaw is not.

Personality and Traits[]
- Sharkpaw was a shy and hesitant young she-cat, often unsure of herself and reluctant to speak her mind. Soft-spoken and easily flustered, she struggled to form friendships and frequently felt out of place among her peers. Her meek and sheepish demeanor made her appear feeble in the eyes of others, yet beneath this quiet exterior lay a sharp intelligence that guided her thoughts and decisions. Though she lacked confidence and strength in battle, Sharkpaw’s perceptiveness and insight set her apart, and she was remembered as a cat whose worth was often underestimated. Her wisdom and maturity grew with her time in StarClan with Missingfoot.
