In the heart of the endless city, where stars are hidden behind smoke and neon lights, a young Kittypet named Sprite learns what it truly means to survive.
Once a pampered kittypet, he and his last remaining littermate, Cake, are thrown into the maze of alleyways after being abandoned by their owners. With nowhere left to go, they cling to each other as they search for a new home amidst the noise, hunger, and fear.
But the city is no place for innocence. When they fall into the paws of their so-called “father,” the ruthless leader of the Outclaws, Sprite begins to see the streets for what they truly are. Just as the Nature of his kin.
