Pre-Detestation[]
Rosekit was born to Springivy and a brown tabby loner alongside her sister Olivekit. Rosekit and Olivekit were inseparable. She has two older siblings named Branchpaw and Squirrelpaw. When Rosekit was a few days old, her father decided to join the clan. He regrets not being there for his first litter with Springivy. When she was four moons old, Branchstep and Squirrelstripe received their warrior names. Rosekit loved being taught how to hunt by Branchstep.
Rosepaw became an apprentice at six moons old and was mentored by Branchsnout. She frequently trained with her sister Olivepaw, but Olivepaw was falling behind. Rosepaw trained with her sister less and less and instead hung out with the slightly older apprentices like Pinepaw.
Eventually her brother Squirrelstripe killed a SunClan warrior by accident and became a medicine cat to atone for his actions. Rosepaw became closer to him as he trains to heal people.
Detestation[]
Rosepaw is on patrol with her mentor Branchsnout when Badgerglow and Dawnpaw are trespassing on AppleClan's territory to gather moss. Rosepaw and Dawnpaw fight head on. Since Dawnpaw's had next to no training, Rosepaw easily wins. Dawnpaw is left with two scratches on her face.
A couple weeks later, it's the night of the gathering. Rosepaw runs into Dawnpaw. "Oh my StarClan! Hiiiiii! I'm Rosepaw."
Dawnpaw squinted her eyes. "I remember you. You scratched up my face!"
Rosepaw grinned awkwardly. "I'm sorry about that... what's your name?"
They chatted for a while longer and then the leaders began to speak. Rosepaw and Dawnpaw become rivals but I never got around to writing that part lol.
Three moons later, Rosewind receives her warrior name. Her sister gets the name Olivesnail, which is really rude of Spiderstar to name her because she progressed slower than the other apprentices.
A couple years later, Olivesnail has kits with Adderthorn. Their relationship was very abusive and Rosewind helped her sister escape it. Rosewind and Maplecall decide to have kits, and she has their son Sedgekit a couple weeks after Olivesnail had her kits. Olivesnail and Rosewind become closer friends as they raise Sedgekit, Sunsetkit, Snapkit, Riverkit, and Brightkit together.
During this time, Dawnstar's clan and Spiderstar's clan are in an alliance, and soon half of FireClan moves to AppleClan. Rosewind sees her old rival a lot more often and Dawnstar opens up to Rosewind about abandoning her daughter Whitepaw.
AppleClan and FireClan then go on to fight SwampClan and SunClan. Rosewind does not participate since she is in the nursery caring for her son and niblings.
After the last gathering of the comic, Rosewind is not surprised to hear that Dawnstar was murdered after the battle. She was a bit sad though, but knew her death would bring peace to the clans.
Pre-Rotting Flower[]
Sedgekit became an apprentice a couple moons after Detestation ended. Rosewind would bribe Flowerfoot to assign her to her son's patrols. Flowerfoot let her half the time with no charge. Her son was given the name Sedgeclaw due to his fighting abilities. Rosewind cheered the loudest out of anyone during his warrior ceremony.

Rotting Flower[]
Rosewind is dead and will only be shown in flashback scenes. She is Brownstripe and Juncocry's grandmother. When she was still alive she would spend some time with her grandchildren when they were kits.
