Redspring is a dark ginger tabby tom with a white chest, belly, and paws.
Redspring was a ThunderClan warrior. He was born as Redkit alongside his sister, Widowkit. Redkit was prioritized more than his sister, which caused her to be jealous of him. Widowkit's friend, Winterkit, despised Redkit due to this, however, Redkit did not reciprocate those feelings, feeling sorry for his sister but still accepting the praise from his parents. As he, his sister, and Winterkit became apprentices, Redpaw and Winterpaw both noticed that Widowpaw slowly began to distance herself from both her old friend and her brother. After Widowpaw became more snarky and angry with them, Redpaw began to make amends with Winterpaw due to their shared concerns for Widowpaw. Redpaw and Winterpaw began to grow popular amongst the apprentices, befriending Oakpaw, Daisypaw, Obsidianpaw, Swiftcry, and Coyotepaw. After a kittypet named Hook joined the Clan, earning the name Duskpaw, Redpaw noticed that Winterpaw had caught feelings for the tom, often taunting him, which resulted in several fights among the two. After these fights, Redpaw often saught comfort from Obsidianpaw, who was eventually mysteriously killed, to Redpaw's horror. After Coyotepaw had too succumbed, it was revealed that Darkpaw was their murderer, and Redpaw, among his friends and sister, encouraged his exile. He was distraught when his sister chose to leave ThunderClan among Duskpaw, and helped comfort Winterpaw during his grief. The two went on to receive their warrior names, although Redspring had quickly noticed that Winterwhisper distanced himself from a lot of cats, mostly only speaking to Redspring. This encouraged Redspring to go looking for his sister, which ultimately resulted in his death after Widowglare had attacked and killed him.
After his death, Redspring grew spiteful of the world around him, feeling he was treated unjustly. As a result, he began to manipulate Widowglare to take out her anger on both Duskwatcher and Winterwhisper, feeling the two should be punished for not being there in his life. He went on to fight the two alongside Widowglare, however, his spirit was ultimately killed by Winterwhisper and Blizzard as a result.
