Pre-Detestation[]
Primrosetuft was born into AppleClan to Sunshinecoat and Murkytide alongside her sibling Spiderfleece. Her mother was the AppleClan medicine cat and her other parent was the SwampClan medicine cat. She was a medicine cat who served under Coalstar's, Cliffstar's and Spiderstar's leaderships. She is blind, so she had her eyes closed most of the time.
Ever since she was a young kit, Primrosetuft loved the smell of herbs. The smell of herbs was the most beautiful thing in the world to her. Her favorite flower was primrose, obviously. She loved the sweet, tangy scent. This influenced her to become a medicine cat, along with the fact that both her parents had that position.
Occasionally, Sunshinecoat would take her and Spiderkit to visit their SwampClan parent. Primrosekit thought Murkytide was weird. Sometimes, they'd try to convince her to join SwampClan, but she'd refuse.
When she was around 5 moons old, her mother was murdered. Primrose's parent Murkytide wanted one of their kits to live in SwampClan, but Sunshinecoat didn't want to separate her children. They killed her and Smokyshell witnessed what happened but was afraid to say anything.
At six moons old, she became a medicine cat apprentice. Primrosepaw trained under Smokyshell. Smokyshell was already anxious before, but now he was paranoid. Primrosepaw helped him through his grief, and they became really close friends.
Things were tense when she would go to the StarClan Tree. Murkytide was there, and that made Primrosepaw and Smokyshell anxious. Murkytide was always staring at their daughter; Primrosepaw just had to shake off the feeling of being watched. Thankfully, the SunClan medicine cat was usually in between the SwampClan and AppleClan medicince cats.
After she finished her training, Smokyshell named her Primrosetuft for her soft fur. Primrosetuft is not afraid to say what she thinks, and doesn't tolerate Murkytide at all after Smokyshell told her what happened to her mother. Primrosetuft marches right into SwampClan's camp and tells their leader what should have been said so many moons ago.
The SwampClan leader actually listened and exiled Murkytide for killing another clan's medicine cat. Medicine cat life was significantly easier after Smokyshell and Primrosetuft didn't have to worry about seeing Murkytide again.
When Primrosetuft was around three and a half years old, she had her daughter on a full moon and decided to name her Moonkit. Moonkit was very spoiled, being Primrosetuft's only child.
A moon later, Cliffstar became the leader of AppleClan. He was a tyrannical ruler who over time broke the warrior code more and more. Things were so bad, the medicine cats, queens, and elders had to hunt for their own food. Some of the warriors, like Vireopath weren't influenced by Cliffstar's greediness, so she helped the medicine cats eat. Primrosetuft became friends with Vireopath during this time. She hoped StarClan would send a sign to get rid of Cliffstar, but they never sent one.
Seven moons into Cliffstar's leadership, he decided to get rid of all the elders once and for all. Spiderlight saw this, and took the rest of Cliffstar's lives after it was too late to save any of the elders. Spiderstar was now officially the leader of AppleClan. Primrosetuft was so happy that her friend was restoring the greatness of their clan by following the warrior code again.
Squirrelstripe, one of AppleClan's newest warriors was feeling incredibly guilty about accidently killing someone during a battle. He decided to become a medicine cat to atone for his violence. Smokyshell was happy to help him, but Primrosetuft had her doubts.

Primrosetuft is the second ranked medicine cat of AppleClan, below Smokyshell but above Squirrelstripe. She appears every gathering and in the background of scenes taking place in AppleClan's camp. (Or she would if the comic actually existed lol.)
