Detailed Description
Nightmare is a large black tom with long, silky fur. His fur has a sort of iridescent blue shine to it. His eyes are a beautiful aqua blue color, the same color as the blue moon. He's very fluffy, but his legs and ears have shorter fur than the rest of his body.
Personality
Nightmare, as a kit, was very curious and innocent, not understanding why his father, Drown, was so mad at him all the time and why all his half-siblings despised him so much. Eventually, when he found out the truth and left BloodClan for good, he became extremely resentful toward Clan life and how much they care for each other. He was very cold and stubborn, refusing to change his mind until Jayflight saved him from being killed by Drift. He was then extremely sorry for his actions, growing very loyal toward NightClan and serving it in honor of Jayflight. However, he had sadistic tendencies his whole life, smiling when he killed Drown and his half-siblings, and when Drift was crushed by the boulder (this may just be because they were enemies).
Relationships
Drown
Drown was Nightmare's father. Nightmare loved him at first before he found out why Drown hated him so much. He then felt a strong hatred toward Drown, killing him in cold blood when he returned to BloodClan moons later. Nightmare still has nightmares of Drown, making him hate his father even more.
Dove and Storm
Dove and Storm were Nightmare's half-siblings. Dove was always a bit uncomfortable around him, but she still respected him. Storm, on the other hand, hated him, taking after his father. Nightmare killed Storm mercilessly during the massacre on BloodClan, hesitating slightly when killing Dove, but he'd always hated them both. Now, he feels extreme regret for killing Dove after realizing she was the only one in the whole of BloodClan who didn't hate him as much as the others.
Jayflight
Jayflight was the one who saved Nightmare during the battle between DreamClan and the other Clans. Nightmare is extremely thankful and respectful toward Jayflight, and part of the reason he's still loyal to NightClan is because of Jayflight's selflessness. Nightmare said he would do anything for Jayflight.
Drift
Drift was formerly Nightmare's second-in-command, his closest ally. They were never friends, and Nightmare never considered them to be the same level, but they had a mutual respect for each other. However, when Drift betrayed him and tried to kill him after he revealed his past, Nightmare felt the same hatred for him as he did with his father. He was always secretly pleased when Drift was crushed by the boulder.

Interesting Facts
- Nightmare's design was based off of a laptop wallpaper. (Of all things, a laptop wallpaper. I mean, come on, what am I doing with my life?)
- Nightmare is similar to Tsuki in many ways;
- They both have a, well, sad backstory.
- They're both villains in an arc.
- Their eyes are both based off of special events on the moon.
- Their designs were actually made to mirror each other, Nightmare having long black fur while Tsuki has short white fur. Nightmare was actually made to see what would've happened if Tsuki wasn't killed.
Mistakes
- Nightmare's eyes have been described as pale blue, soft blue, light blue, ocean blue, and deep blue. However, his eyes are actually aqua blue and look like the blue moon.
