Mintfrost is a sturdy[1], muscular[2], reddish[3] tabby tom[4] with amber eyes[5]. He was the deputy of MistyClan before being banished and joining WillowClan. He was killed by Dovestar.

WillowClan's Destiny[]
Mintfrost is first seen sleeping in Dovestar's nest. He stands up and stretches, waking Dovestar up. She asks if anything is wrong and he shakes his head. They go back to sleep, Dovestar thinking that something is wrong with Mintfrost.
He is seen again on the border patrol to pick up Rustyleap. He and Moonstar exchange an awkward look. He takes Rustyleap when she faints and carries her gently on his back. She struggles a little bit but Mintfrost merely gives her a pained look and she goes back into her unconscious state.
Much later, Moonstar leads an attack on MistyClan camp. Mintfrost sees Dovestar knock the WillowClan leader out and he rushes to her aid. Dovestar was about to kill Moonstar again when he knocks his own leader to the ground. He stood defiantly, saying that he and Moonstar had once been in love and that he would never let her die without dying too. Dovestar was shocked that her own mate was leaving her and she banished him. Moonstar was so grateful that she allowed Mintfrost to come to with her and be a warrior of WillowClan. Mossheart came too. Dovestar watched Mintfrost go, content that she had cast out traitors.
When Mintfrost was leaving the territory, he spotted an escaped prisoner, a WillowClan tom named Tawnywind. He was caught in a thorny bush. Mintfrost ran over quickly and helped him out. He told the WillowClan warrior that he was no longer the MistyClan deputy and that he was safe. Tawnywind was relieved and Mintfrost, along with Mossheart, helped him back to his camp.
A little while later, Moonstar decided to test her former mate's newfound loyalty to WillowClan by making him a mentor to a tom named Lostpaw. Lostpaw's apprenticeship had been delayed because Moonstar had been off in a field far away recruiting rebels. Mintfrost was overjoyed to see such a rambunctious and promising young cat and swore that he would do the best job he could.
Later, Moonstar decided she would attack again and this time, attack the medicine cat den and destroy the herbs. Mintfrost, along with Lostbumble, his old apprentice, joined the attack patrol. Mintfrost was a little nervous at the prospect of facing the same cats that he used to share tongues and eat fresh-kill with. The patrol bounded into MistyClan camp and Mintfrost and Moonstar went straight into the medicine cat den, destroying all the plants they could. Suddenly, Dovestar cornered them and attacked Moonstar. The WillowClan leader began to lose a life and Mintfrost attacked Dovestar. The silver leader whirled on her former mate and clawed his stomach open. He fell to the ground, dead. Mossheart skidded in and gasped in shock at her father's dead body. Dovestar sent all the WillowClan cats out of the camp and buried her former deputy's body herself.
MistyClan's Promise[]
Mintfrost was only seen welcoming Mossthorn into StarClan alongside Moonstar and Softflower. He ran off with Moonstar for a fun race at the end of the section.
