History[]
The Prophecies Begin[]
- Magpie is a member of BloodClan under Scourge's leadership. He follows the tom to the forest territories to side with Tigerstar when he attempts to gain control over the forest Clans. Magpie witnesses the tabby leader's death at Scourge's paws and retreats with BloodClan temporarily after the tom delivers his ultimatum to Firestar and the Clans.
- In the days following, the tom returns with BloodClan to fight the combined force of LionClan. Magpie remains on the sideline of the fight, opting to instead lookout for his Clanmates. He is the one to raise the alarm that Scourge has been killed and watches BloodClan hurries to retreat back to Twolegplace. In the aftermath, Magpie sits by Scourge's body but soon realises that he is in fact not dead but very badly wounded. This catches the attention of Firestar and some others that approach Magpie.
- Firestar and Magpie speak about Scourge and BloodClan, and the ThunderClan leader realises that the black-and-white cat is not all that different from many ThunderClan cats. Barley, a farm cat, offers support of Magpie, and to a lesser degree, Scourge, to be given shelter with ThunderClan. He reveals that Magpie was once his foster parent while he was in BloodClan. Magpie accepts Firestar's offer for shelter and promises to stand guard of Scourge while he heals in the ThunderClan medicine cat den.

- In Magpie's Adventure, Magpie is born a kittypet in Twolegplace near the old forest territories. There, he escaped from his Twoleg nest and was unable to find his way back. While adventuring in Twolegplace, he was attacked by a group of rogues, but, are then saved by Scourge. In debt to the tom, he sticks around him and joins BloodClan.

- Magpie is one of maxxpng's oldest Warriors original characters, with his concept being made sometime in 2013.
- His name comes from the Australian magpie, which is one of maxxpng's favourite animals.
Detailed Description[]
- Magpie is a lanky, scruffy tom with thick, black-and-white fur that is littered with distinct, thick scars from a singular fight. He has high features and pale yellow eyes. The tom wears a distinct, red bandana that over the years has faded from a vibrant colour to a very washed out version of its former self. His left ear has a nick in it.

Personality and traits[]
- Magpie is a well-travelled cat and has some tough skin. He doesn't care about what others think of him, be it positive or negative. He's learnt that there's too much in life to enjoy to get bogged down by emotions. Ironically, this attitude has made it hard for him to express himself beyond crude remarks and jokes. Mind you, once you get to know him, Magpie is a dead set loyal cat to be friends with. He'll stick with you in the long run, no matter what. Only thing is, don't cross him. He'll hunt you down and get you back for whatever earns you a spot on his hit list.
- The tom, despite all his forthcomings, can be quite a serious character at times. Magpie has dealt with a multitude of cats of varying backgrounds in his life to understanding when and how to be smart about things. So, he can get pissed off if many think of him as a cold-shouldered cat who has no social skills, because, in all honesty, he is quite the opposite. He just has been by himself for a while that he tends to prefer the company of one's self over that of others. But, he'll get there just like anything - give him time.
