Lightsea was born to Flintmask and an unnamed loner alongside Smokyshell, Bluecreek, and Newtpetal. Flintmask and his mate Fireflank raised Lightkit and her siblings. Lightkit was born male and transitioned into a she-cat at three months old.

At four years old, Lightsea found two abandoned kits on the roots of a pine tree. She decided to take them in after looking for their parent and finding no one. She named the she-kit Pinekit and the tom Rootkit after the place they were found.
However, one moon later, Cliffstar became the leader of AppleClan. He forced the queens to hunt for their own food... sucks to be Lightsea rn
