Jackalpelt was a warrior of ThunderClan and former mate of Hearthsong.
He left her after the death of Honeykit, leaving to become a loner, finding Fenn while out there and becoming mates, after the birth of Bark and Peril, he would take Bark to ShadowClan hoping Hearthsong would take the kit in, she wouldn't, but Marigoldstar did.
