Icefur is a white tom with blue eyes.[6]
Icefur was a ShadowClan warrior under Runningstar's, Redstar's and Breezestar's leaderships. He was found abandoned by a Clan patrol and taken in ShadowClan's leader, Runningstar, alongside his foster sister, Whitekit. As an apprentice, Icepaw was mentored by Sparkfall until he earned his warrior name, Icefur. When Breezesky followed Redmoon into exile, Icefur met with her in secret several times to update her on Clan affairs. Later, when Leafshine admitted that Redstar had killed Whitewhisper, Icefur helped Breezesky to drive Redstar into the blizzard, where he would die of hypothermia. Icefur went on to father Breezesky's kits, Myrtlekit and Thistlekit.
While on night patrol with Wrenheart, Icefur was attacked and killed by Oakblaze, who was being controlled by Brightflower. In StarClan, Icefur was led to believe that Redstar had no part in his killing despite him ordering it. Later, while on Redstar's patrol into the Place of No Stars, Icefur voiced his misgivings about making peace with Jayflight. As a result, he was attacked and drowned in the river by Shadewing while the remaining StarClan cats made no move to try and save him.

Icefur is a large, muscular, white tom with clear, ice blue eyes and pale grey slash-like markings across one side of his face. He has thick, well-groomed fur and tufted ears.
