Appearance[]
Flaxseed is a cream tabby cat with a white muzzle, chest, paws, tail tip, and ear tufts. Their eyes are hazel and are usually in a mischievous squint. Their fur is long and sleek. They are also taller than average.

Pre-Rotting Flower[]
Flaxseed was born to Chaffinchpelt and their parent alongside Leafshade and Wrenfoot. Flaxkit and their siblings were good friends. Flaxkit is mischievous and likes to play pranks.
A month into their apprenticeship, a drought spiraled into a deadly famine. Soon, Chaffinchpelt died and Flaxpaw grieved her death.
Flaxpaw, Antpaw, and Finchpaw all hung out together. It was them and the girlies, they all had each other's backs during this tragedy. The three of them also spent time with Wrenpaw, but not as much.
Flaxseed earned their warrior name at 12 moons old because their fur is the same color as flax seeds. Wrenfoot died from starvation shortly after the siblings got their warrior names. Flaxseed was devastated.
Later, Flaxseed and Leafshade started fighting. Leafshade was winning all this food gambling, yet he wouldn't share any with his family. Leafshade was afraid to end up like Chaffinchpelt and Wrenfoot. Flaxseed thought he was being selfish.
"What about our parent? What about me? Can't you spare just a little bit of prey?"
Leafshade raised his eyebrow, "What about you? Get your own food." Flaxseed was appalled. For the next few months, the siblings would bicker and even get into physical fights sometimes.
Then, in early greenleaf, Finchtail left the clan. Flaxseed and Antberry were so sad (and then Antberry dies sometime from like July to December, idk yet). Flaxseed needed to make more friends and they noticed these two losers in the corner.
Flaxseed became friends with Juncocry and Blackbear.
"I hate my brother," Flaxseed would say.
"Me too!" Juncocry would say. They're both haters, they got along so well.
Leafshade noticed Flaxseed's new friends and became friends with Blackbear as well. Leafshade would try to convince him to not be friends with Flaxseed anymore.
Blackbear would try to hang out with both Flaxseed and Leafshade at the same time, and that was a mess. Ultimately, Flaxseed and Blackbear stayed friends.
...
Flaxseed got sick with greencough. It was wintertime and there was barely any catnip left. They intentionally infected Leafshade with the sickness (gross). If they had to die, then Leafshade would die too! That's what he gets for being greedy.
"You can't gamble away greencough!" Flaxseed said.
"You monster!" Leafshade said.
They were both in the medicine den for a few days, waiting to see who would die first. Who would be the true winner?
Flaxseed died first. Sucks to be them. Flaxseed made it to StarClan and a few days later, Leafshade was there too. Ew.
Rotting Flower[]
Flaxseed has been dead for 10 moons. They appear in a few flashbacks, mainly just being in the background.
