Pre-Rotting Flower[]
Finchtail was born to Streamivy and Darkbranch alongside her brothers Blackbear and Ashstep. When they were around 4 and a half moons old, a drought began and spiraled into a terrible famine. Many cats died, but Finchkit and her littermates were able to eat.
Finchpaw was apprenticed to Rainblossom. Her and Blackpaw would always try to get Spiderstar's attention since they were his grandchildren, but he never bothered to talk to them. Ashpaw would tell her and Blackpaw to stop that but they didn't listen.
Finchpaw was best friends with Antpaw. They were girl bosses. They were also friends with Flaxpaw and Wrenpaw.
Then, Rainblossom left the clan. Spiderdapple was chosen to be Finchpaw's new mentor soon after Antberry had became a warrior.
Eventually Finchtail earns her warrior name.

Blackbear is mentioned to constantly talk about his misfortunes to she-cats from other clans, including how Finchtail left AppleClan after their mother's death.
Since she is still alive, Brownstripe and his patrol searching for food could potentially find her in the city, though she will not rejoin the clan.

Antberry: Former Best Friend. Finchtail regret leaving Antberry behind in AppleClan.
Flaxseed: Former Friend. The two of them would have a good laugh occasionally, though Finchtail found Flaxseed to be annoying the majority of the time. She'd only hang out with Flaxseed because Antberry liked them.
Rainblossom: Former Mentor. Not much is known about their relationship.
Spiderdapple: Second Former Mentor. He took over for Rainblossom after she left the clan. Finchtail preferred his teaching to Rainblossom's.
