Tigerstar is a burly^[9]^[8], thick-pelted^[2], dark brown^[1]^[2] tabby tom^[1] with a fluffy tail^[2], dark ears^[9], and amber^[1]^[2] eyes.

Chapter One

Perched on a sturdy rock, Tigerburr sits, watching the empty clearing of his clan. In the distance, he sees the warm colors of the sunrise. Crisp air circles around him, ruffling his thick pelt and reminding him that that leaf-fall was ending. The warrior has no reason to think that leaf-bare would be different from the last one.

His ears twitch when he hears rocks falling and he looks. A purr rises in his throat when he spots movement coming from two warriors. He recognizes them as Squirrelpelt and Graytuft and notes that they are the two newest cats to join CanyonClan. He watches them come down from the rock walls and he finally moves to greet them. Graytuft greets him when Tigerburr goes pads towards them. Tigerburr returns his greeting and looks towards Squirrelpelt as she heads towards the apprentices' den. He thinks to himself that she is getting Bumblepaw. Graytuft then askes if anyone else is joining. Tigerburr notes that his gaze is full of wonder. Tigerburr also notes that Graytuft is an older cat and that Tigerburr admires his will to learn about Clan life, making his chest squeeze with pride. Tigerburr tells him that Barkfall would be joining, though it would be the warriors choice if he actually wanted too.

Graytuft nods and turns his attention to Squirrelpelt as she comes over with Bumblepaw. Tigerburr notes that Bumblepaw looks tired, bringing the warrior back to his apprentice days. Tigerburr greets Squirrelpelt with a nod and turns his head to see Barkfall coming towards them. The tom quickly remembers Barkfall coming to CanyonClan soon after Lionstar and Goldenwing found the camp. Tigerburr makes note that Barkfall is a loyal cat and a great mentor regradless where the warrior went. He thinks that even with what happened in WispClan.

Barkfall greets Tigerburr before asking if they were heading towards StreamClan's border. Tigerburr says yes, but they would check the Twolegplace border as well as there were strays and kittypets crossing into their territory. He sees his clanmates nodding in agreement. Tigerburr knows that the strays and kittypet were harmless, but he had to protect his clanmates. Tigerburr calls on Graytuft, asking if he wanted to lead the patrol. Graytuft's eyes light up and he agrees. Tigerburr could see that Graytuft was itching to lead a patrol and he watches the gray tom pad towards the gorse tunnel.

As the patrol leaves the camp, Tigerburr took a deep breath in, taking in the crispy air. It was refreshing and he could smell the mice, birds and squirrels in the forest even when Leaf-fall was ending. Tigerburr thinks that the clan will be well-fed and takes a mental note of speaking with Lionstar about sending out extra patrols. Tigerburr watched as the forest brightened up as the rays of sunlight began to filter through the trees. Everything felt right. Barkfall calls to Tigerburr and the tom questions him. Tigerburr see's a flash of grief in the older tom's eyes, and he knew that Barkfall was thinking about Silverflight. Silverflight was a young and beautiful she-cat that Barkfall had fallen in love with. Tigerburr didn't know Silverflight very well as she joined CanyonClan only a moon before she gave birth to Thornkit and Bluekit. Silverflight passed soon after they came into the world and left Barkfall to raise his kits. Goldenwing was more than willing to take the kits and provided for them.

Trivia

Tigerburr has gone through many name changes in his life as a character, his first name was Wasptail. His second was Tigerstripe. He's gone through a few more name changes, but I honestly don't remember them all.
Tigerburr was mostly drawn with green eyes before his official eye color, amber was chosen.

Personality and Traits

As a warrior, Tigerburr is known to be stubborn and hard-headed when it comes to what he believes is the best course of action. When he is not stubborn, he is quite normal; minding his own business and being friendly when he needs too. He's been seen to encourage apprentices and warriors alike. He's just a normal, all-around good cat to be around.

As Tigerstar it's no secret that he's fallen off the deep end and hasn't gone back to his former self. He's guarded, hostile and doesn't believe in the clan he built. He becomes depressed and lazy, sending his son, Creaksplash to not only be a deputy, but to be the leader of CanyonClan during gatherings and other important events. Tigerstar has been known to declare war on StarClan on multiple occasions and doesn't really care when he makes a mistake and who get caught in the crossfire.

Theme Songs

Tigerstar has been an Oc for years, and naturally, he's gained a few theme songs during that time.

Let You Down is a recent song that Queen began associating with Tigerstar. She sees this song as Tigerstar's insecurities (as well as his feelings towards cats in his life) getting to him. Queen strongly believes the last bit of the song reflects Tigerstar's relationship with Moonsplash.

Blasphemy has been a theme song for quite some time. Much as the song is about faith, it really does go will with Tigerstar's faith in StarClan. Lines such as:

It makes no sense but it must right. The blood and sweat you sacrificed. Was it all for nothing. Cause you found no sign and see no light. We hear no voice when we pray at night. But we swore and now it's too late to turn back

These lyrics work very well with Tigerstar's breakdown in his faith.

Start Again is basically a song about Tigerstar and Moonsplash's relationship, especially on Tigerstar's side. To be honest, Queen just wanted an edgy song for her boy.
