Description[]

EchoClan is thought of by the other Clans as feisty and selfish, the cats known for collecting shiny or unusual things outside their cave and taking it back to the cave to add it to their already large collection of large shiny crystals. EchoClan kits are known for their instinct to explore and wander around as soon as they can walk. This trait is kept even in adulthood, leaving many cats to believe they just hunger for more territory. EchoClan cats usually have dark pelts to blend in with the dark colors of the cave and stones around them. They have long front claws to help dig and keep their balance on the hard, smooth, slippery floor of the caves and usually have large ears to help hear in very dark places where eyesight would be useless. With eyesight, EchoClan cats either have amazing eyesight or terrible eyesight; There's usually no in between. Thanks to their long claws and feisty attitude, they are not favored by Twolegs. Sort of like the Tribe of Rushing Water, EchoClan cats read the pointed stones in the cave as signs from StarClan. Medicine cats can also interpret the water dripping from the pointed stones on the ceiling as signs, as well as the waterfalls gushing out of others.

Territory[]

Like the other Clans, EchoClan is in a wildlife preserve (overrun by cats, I guess). Their camp is a cave located in a pine forest, also unamed. Their pine forest is quite dense, but cool and humid, and it rains quite a lot. To their left is OceanClan, and to their right is MoonClan. The area in the middle of all the Clans belongs to no-one, as it's the place where Goldbranches is located, and no border fights are to be had. However, they still have border fights with NightClan when warriors of either Clan pass by one another.

Camp[]

The EchoClan camp is located deep inside the cave, where it's full of crystals. There is a crystal near the apprentice's den with a stalactite above it, the apprentices using the water that falls out of it as a way to bless their food. The apprentice's den is a tunnel with feathery beds inside, located right beside the crystal.

The nursery is beautiful; It's on the ceiling of the crystal cave, with a petrified fallen tree acting as a way to get up and down. The nursery is on the ceiling; There's a hole on the ceiling used as an entrance to a room lined with moss and feathers. Kits love peering out the entrance and seeing camp beneath them, though there's a flat rock used to cover the entrance if the queens are worried.

The warrior's den looks like the most boring den. It's a hole in the ground lined with feathers. But when you look inside, you see that it's filled with snow and even more crystals.

The medicine den is a hole in the wall that leads to another cave. Stones are convenient ledges for storing herbs, and there's a small hole in the wall that leads to the outside so the medicine cats can easily get in and out, like a back door.

Deeper In the Cave[]

Going very deep in the cave is considered dangerous to many of the EchoClan cats; If you go farther than the camp, most of the cave is pitch black, so any cat without an extrodinarily good sense of hearing and smell dare to go that far. Most of the cave is large and straight, but as you go deeper, there is a sudden left turn. If you don't turn, there's a sheer drop. After the turn, there's a narrow entrance you have to slip through to get into a very small room with a low ceiling (any cat with claustrophobia, I feel very bad for). At this point, you'd probably start to smell the corpses of all the cats who tried to venture farther, but never came back. The only cat who went farther than this point and lived to tell the story was Sunstar. If you feel arond, you can slip into yet another narrow entrance, falling down into a small room with a fairly deep floor. If you climb your way all the way back up to the top and slip through the final small entrance, you'll find that you emerge into the Starfall, which is the new Clans' version of the Moonpool.
