Appearance[]
Darkbranch is a black tom with a brown face, chest, paws, and tail tip. His eyes are amber and angular. He is heavy-set and his fur is long. He's average height.
Detestation[]
Darkbranch was born into AppleClan to Nightglow and Spiderstar. Nightglow would constantly try to get Spiderstar to be involved in his son's life, but he refused unless Darkkit was going to be tall like him. (AppleClan has a height hierarchy where the tallest people are closest to the stars, therefore being close to StarClan.) The only reason Darkkit was born was so Spiderstar could have kits.
Darkkit was spoiled by his mother a lot. Nightglow doesn't have a lot of friends, so she spent a lot of time with her son. Darkkit feels embarrassed by her smothering and wants to be left alone while playing with the other kits.
Eventually, Darkpaw is apprenticed to an unknown warrior. At this point, it was obvious that he was not going to be in the elites, the tallest, most holy people of AppleClan. Spiderstar did not care about Darkpaw whatsoever.
Then Nightglow died omg. To be expanded on later.
Darkbranch earned his warrior name, being named after his brown fur. He prefers to be alone.
Eventually, Streamivy got to know Darkbranch a little bit more and they became good friends. He's very closed off, but Streamivy was just chill and she was there for him. Darkbranch learned to relax more and both of them would sneak off their patrols to be together.
Pre-Rotting Flower[]
More moons pass, and Streamivy and Darkbranch become mates. They have their children Blackkit, Ashkit, and Finchkit. Darkbranch was determined to be nothing like Spiderstar and to be there for his kids.
Then the drought struck, and soon a terrible famine happened. Spiderstar handled the food shortage terribly, so AppleClan was significantly worse off than the other clans. In addition, their main strategy was to outnumber the other clans, but now AppleClan is the smallest. Darkbranch could not stand him.
A few moons later, Spiderstar adopts his apprentice Brownpaw and calls him "the son he never had." Darkbranch is right there omg. Every time Darkbranch tried to talk to Spiderstar, Spiderstar would ignore him. Spiderstar doesn't talk to his grandchildren either.
Darkbranch's family was fine until his kits became warriors. He was very proud of Blackbear, Ashstep, and Finchtail. Streamivy succumbed to her hunger soon after though. Darkbranch was devastated.
He could not stand being in AppleClan anymore.

Darkbranch lives as a loner in the city if he's still alive. We will never see him though. I don't care about him lol.

Blackbear: Son. Good while it lasted.
