Pre-Rotting Flower[]
Coldstep was born to Softcreek and Lynxfalcon along with his brother Cloudypelt. They were born just a month after the drought started. AppleClan fell into famine but they prioritized the queens and kits eating, so Cloudykit and Coldkit lived to be apprentices.
Coldpaw was apprenticed to Soilstrike and Cloudypaw was apprenticed to Brownstripe. Despite Coldpaw being more skilled than Cloudypaw, he wasn't praised as much. Cloudypaw was super tall, and was valued because there's a height hierarchy in AppleClan (Cloudypaw was deemed closer to StarClan). Coldpaw is humble though, so he didn't mind being in his brother's shadow. Coldpaw became good friends with Cherrypaw.
He became a warrior named Coldstep because he takes his time solving problems and is very confident in doing so. Three moons later, Cherrythorn receives her warrior name and they became mates. They spent a lot of time together. Cherrythorn was expecting kits, but a moon into her pregnancy Coldstep died.
Coldstep watches over Cherrythorn in StarClan, and eventually their two kits join him. Peachkit was stillborn, and his son Beamkit died from weakness a few days later :(
