Bitingmoon is a medium size, long-haired, dark faded amaranth, fawn-spotted mixed tom with bright amber eyes. He is blind due to a trauma suffered in his apprentice-moons.
Bitingmoon is the current leader of EclipseClan, preceded by the Dark Era, a time known by the chaos and the lack of guidance of any kind. He was originally born as a kittypet, named Max, but he moved out along his mother, Caramel, with the hope of finding a place that fitted with her free-spirited personality.
At the time, Bitingmoon is a father of seven: Solarpaw, Ivorypaw, Comfreypaw, Canopykit, Wildkit, also counting his adoptive/fostered children, Milkypelt and Fawntrot.

- Azu inspiration for this alternate version of the Original Arc, "The Clawed Warrior", is the question What If Clawstar and her brother had swiched paths.
- Azu first thoughted him as an alternative version of Clawstar, than Spots.
- Azu wanted this version of Spots to be a tom, no reasons given.

Comparison with "The Clawed Warrior"[]
In this timeline, Rosey (Clawstar) and Max (Spots) are born toms, instead of she-cats, since Azu wanted to experiment. It's important to also point out that, Max (Spots) is the first born, so his Twolegged owners keep him and Caramel, putting Rosey (Clawstar) to adoption.
Caramel doesn't get run over by a car, since the twolegs that are driving are Spots's (Max's) owners who were on a hurry since their pet had involved in a fight with a dog and got badly wounded. In this alternative arc, Clawstar (Rosey) doesn't get into the fight since she has a less impulsive demeanor than her sibling's.

Silverlake[]
Despite Silverlake's tries to get on with him, Bitingheart wasn't interested in having a bond. This rejection grown even more after the birth of Sweetkit and Smokingkit. Silverlake ended up giving up, and Bitingheart was delighted.
Rosey[]
They quite look alike, and because of this, a rummor spread on the Clan saying that Softpaw was betraying them for a kittypet's life. However, it quickly vanished after a patrol confirmed they weren't the same individual.
Smokingsky[]
Not close enough to consider eachother siblings. However, after the fire, Bitingmoon and Smokingsky cried their parents' and siblings' death in a vulnerable moment, finally forgiving their differences. Their bond became even stronger after both had kits at the same time.
Sweetpaw[]
Bitingheart wouldn't have admited it at the time she was alive, but she was his favorite sibling. Their bond was quite close, she always cheered him up and tried many times to keep him out of the elder's den after he became blind.
Rosekit & Daykit[]
Bitingheart had Indifferent-to-negative feelings towards Rosekit and Daykit when they were born.
Magpiekit[]
Bitingheart had Indifferent-to-negative feelings towards Magpie when s/he was born. Caramel allowed Bitingheart to call one of his sibling. In light of this, he named her/him, Magpiekit, since he found the kitten annoying.
