Birchleaf is a long furred,white she-cat with scattered black stripes with forest green eyes,dark pink nose and faded black markings
Birchleaf is the current ThunderClan medicine cat under,Stormstar's Leadership.She was also the medicine cat under Parsleystar's Leadership.Birchleaf was born to Starstream and Morningsong along with her siblings Ashfang and Haretail.She was later apprenticed too Dewpool.
History[]
Before StarClan's Gift[]
Birchleaf was born to Starstream and Morningsong as Birchkit with her siblings Ashkit and Harekit. Birchkit was always interested in becoming a medicine cat,so she usually watched Junipermoon and her apprentice Dewpaw (Dewpool).so she watched them,and learned whatever she could in her free time.
When she turned 6 moons old she knew who she was going to be apprenticed to Dewpool,which she was.She asked Parsleystar herself before her apprentice ceremony and Parsleystar agreed,she said that not many cats in all of her reign wanted too be a medicine cat and is proud of Birchkit.Birchkit became Birchpaw and was apprenticed to Dewpool.From the first day she was a quick learner,she made a couple mistakes but quickly learned from them.Junipermoon was even impressed about how well she learnt.
the first half moon was very exciting for Birchpaw,it was her first visit to the moonpool.Birchpaw was bursting with excitment all day that she almost messed up Cloudysky's infection treating.As soon as Moonrise hit they were off to the moonpool. Junipermoon,Dewpool and Birchpaw arrived at the Moonpool.Birchpaw was amazed by the crystal clear water.Junipermoon explained how many seasons ago a cat named Leafpool discovered this crystal pool,every half-moon medicine cats join each other to share with StarClan.
Right after that introduction the WindClan medicine cat Rasberrybush and her aprentice,Daisypaw (Daisydust).Birchpaw introduced herself too Rasberrybush and Daisypaw,And soon the ShadowClan medicine cat's Lemonberry and Cloudeyes,along with the RiverClan medicine cat,Foamfur.She introduced herself to them as well.After all the introductions Rasberrybush announced Daisypaw is ready to become a full medicine cat.Birchpaw was super excited to come to the moonpool for the first time but too see a medicine cat apprentice become a full medicine cat as well was a exciting first moonpool experience.
Rasberrybush started the ceromony by saying "StarClan,Daisypaw has shown great traits of a medicine cat,she is great with her patients,she is great with herbs and she has a great relationship with StarClan,as you may not have heard she saved our leader Pebblestar when I had yellowcough,and she saved our leader,myself and many other cats of WindClan.StarClan please acept Daisypaw as a full medicine cat and from this day on she will be known as Daisydust."
Birchpaw started chanting Daisydust,then Rasberrybush joined in proudly for his apprentice and soon all the medicine cats joined in.After the celebration all the cats put their noses to the moonpool and fell asleep beside it.when Birchpaw woke up in StarClan she was greeted by Leafpool and Meadowfern.Leafpool welcomed Birchpaw to StarClan and is happy that she was a medicine cat.Meadowfern shook his head in agreement.Leafpool showed her around StarClan and she met some cats of the past.She met Jayfeather,Firestar,Bluestar,Ivypool,Caremelstep,Cherrycloud,Yarrowheart and even Honeykit.she was delighted to finally meet StarClan cats after how much Junipermoon taught her about them.They cats were quite simular too the stories she was told,Jayfeather was as stubborn as the storys,Ivypool was as fierce as the story's and Cherrycloud was as shy as the story's depicted.
As soon as she finished talking to Honeykit and she went back to Leafpool.Leafpool said Birchpaw's time to leave StarClan,and she told her StarClan will always be watching over her.she woke up beside the crystal pool once again,the rest of the medicine cats woke up from their dreams.The cats said there goodbyes and they all left for their clans.On their way back to ThunderClan Birchpaw explained her greeting from StarClan to junipermoon and dewpool.Junipermoon said she was special to have the StarClan cats greet her.
many moons passed since Daisydust's Medicine cat ceromony and Birchpaw's first moonpool visit. Birchpaw's siblings Ashpaw and Harepaw were both real warriors now with the names of Ashfang and Haretail,and Birchpaw was soon going to join them as a Medicine cat. Birchpaw got used to the medicine den and realy liked being there,Dewpool was a kind cat but she was a little quiet at times and Junipermoon was a sweet cat but she takes it out on other cats when she doesn't get something correct or is angry at something.but otherwise Birchpaw loved being in the the medicine den.One day while Birchpaw was out gathering herbs with Junipermoon when she smelt a odd smell,no it was not herbs but is was a fox.Birchpaw didn't know that at the time because she had never smelt a fox before.Junipermoon smelt the fox a little too late and yelled "RUN!" as loud as she could,then the fox attacked Junipermoon.
Birchpaw ran as fast as she could back to ThunderClan and when she got there she yelled "THERE'S A FOX ON THUNDERCLAN TERRITORY AND IT JUST ATTACKED JUNIPERMOON!". ThunderClan deputy Marblesky rushed out of the warriors den and asked Birchpaw where she was,and a bunch of warriors gathered around her,so did dewpool."i can show you" she told all of them and she quickly ran to the place where she left Junipermoon.Junipermoon was lying on the ground motionless with a large bite mark on her pelt.
Dewpool and Birchpaw stayed with Junipermoon,Dewpool checked her and looked at Birchpaw and opened her jaws too say something but she heard a loud yelp.They both ran too the cry of help to see that Marblesky was bleeding from the fox's scratch.When the warriors scared away the fox they called the warriors to fetch Rasberry leafs for Marblesky.Birchpaw asked Dewpool about Junipermoon and she said "it was too late,she hunts with StarClan now "
Birchpaw now filled with sorrow,wanted to help Marblesky as soon as she heard the news about Junipermoon.As soon as she got the Raspberry leaves she tried as hard as she could to save Marblesky but she couldn’t do it.Birchpaw tried many diffrent times to save the deputy,when she finaly gave up Dewpool took over.She tried but she couldn’t save her,the fox had killed her.
Birchpaw mourned for Marblesky but mourned more for Junipermoon,Junipermoon was one of her friends and mentors.she was only in her life for a little but Birchpaw felt like she was a life long companion. A couple days later it was a half-moon,So Dewpool and Birchpaw for the first time,went to the moonpool without Junipermoon. On the way to the moonpool,it felt awkward for Birchpaw and Dewpool to not hear Junipermoon buzzing about stories of when she came to the moonpool.When Birchpaw and Dewpool arrived at the moonpool,Birchpaw saw the familar faces of Cloudeyes and Lemonberry.Lemonberry asked concerningly where Junipermoon was,Dewpool explained to the medicine cats what had happened,and they felt so sorry for the two medicine cats.
when Dewpool opened her jaws to say something,but she was interupted by the happy greeting of Rasberrybush,but soon stoped due to everyone's sorrowfull expresions,Daisydust and foamfur slowly behind the Tortoiseshell tom.Rasberrybush asked the same question Lemonberry asked and this time Lemonberry explained for Dewpool. Rasberrybush Felt extremely sorry for Dewpool and Birchpaw,due to him have being in the same situation of losing a mentor early. Dewpool thanked all of the other medicine cats for their awarness,she looked at Birchpaw and looked back at the other medicine cats.
Dewpool told the other medicine cats that Birchpaw showed great medicine cat skills,that passing sunrise she had the deterimation to save Marblesky and Junipermoon.She also said that "Birchpaw did everything correctly while trying to save the two she-cats and StarClan applauds her for her determination to help others,StarClan has blessed her with excellent medicine cat qualities and I think Birchpaw is ready to become a full medicine cat" Dewpool had said.Birchpaw was very happy that her mentor reconised her efforts and she was quite excited to become a full medicine cat.
Once all the medicine cats were ready for the ceromony,Dewpool started."StarClan this half-moon has been full of surprises,not all of them were good suprises,but suprises none the less.as seen in the past sunrise,without Birchpaw's Efforts,determination and attention to detail,would have never been done,From this day on Birchpaw will be known as Birchleaf to all clans.May StarClan except Birchleaf as the newest ThunderClan medicine cat". When Dewpool finished,Rasberrybush started chanting,"Birchleaf!" and soon all the medicine cats were chanting the new medicine cat's name.Birchleaf felt super proud of herself and how far she came to reach were she was that day.
After the chanting died down,all the cat's touched their noses to the moonpool and fell asleep beside it.When Birchleaf woke up in StarClan,she was greeted by Cherrycloud.The ginger and white she-cat congraulated Birchleaf on becoming a full medicine cat.Birchleaf thanked her for guiding her paws on the right path.Cherrycloud smiled at her and told Birchleaf that she was the one putting in all the effort,then Cherrycloud's face when from her normal shy reaction to a serious face.Cherrycloud told her that Birchleaf had to listen very carfully to what she was gonna say,because Cherrycloud was about to deliver a prophecy. Birchleaf's ears perked up,she wanted to listen as hard as she could to what Cherrycloud was about to say.
Cherrycloud started.¨The brightest of flames will light up the darkest hearts, clear the heaviest of storms and the expel the sharpest bramble thorns in each cat’s paws.¨ Cherrycloud finished the prophecy.Birchleaf was quite confused on what Cherrycloud had said but she knew it would make sense to her eventually.Birchleaf thanked her for delivering the prophecy to her. Birchleaf woke up beside the moonpool and was super excited to tell Dewpool what Cherrycloud had told her.
All the young medicine cats woke up and all had a surprised expression."did everyone receive a prophecy from StarClan?" Daisydust asked the other medicine cats.All of the younger medicine cats nodded their heads.The younger medicine cats recited the prophecy in sync.All of the older medicine cats were surprised by this prophecy,and how unclear it was. Rasberrybush who had only received one prophecy for WindClan,was very happy for the young medicine cats and told them that it was a big responsibility finding out what the prophecy means,which cats are involved and what the prophecy is meant to set right.
The Medicine cats discussed who the cats could be and they brought up a couple of names,they brought of Sparkfire, Sedgefire or emberfleck for the light.Smokepath for the darkness.Lightningstorm or stormshade for the heaviest storms and for the bramble bush Bramblesun.They talked about it for a while intill they parted ways back to their clans.Birchleaf was quite excited to recive her first propechy from StarClan,She told Dewpool that she wants to do good for all of the clans, and follow in Junipermoon's pawsteps. Dewpool thought that was lovely of Birchleaf to follow in her pawsteps,but she warned her prohecys were big responsiblities,like Rasberrybush had said before.
2 Seasons Before StarClan's gift[]
Birchleaf,now a very experinced medicine cat and has been in ThunderClan for many moons. She has witnessed the fall of Parsleystar and The Rise of Stormstar.

Birchleaf is a white she-cat with black scattered,misplaced stripes and appeared to look like a birch tree pattern.Her eyes are a deep foresty green eyes.She is a skinny cat with a fluffy pelt and a spread out fluffy white tail.She has a thick curl at the top of her head.
