Beamkit and Peachkit were born to Cherrythorn and Coldstep. Sadly though, Coldstep died before Beamkit and Peachkit were born. Peachkit was stillborn. The famine in AppleClan was still in full effect, 6 seasons after it started.
Cherrythorn was extremely protective over Beamkit. At this point in her life, her only family left was her aunt Dapplefire and cousin Scorpiontail.

- Beamkit's was almost named Frozenkit, after Coldstep, but that sounded really stupid
