Amberbright was a BayClan warrior under Sunstar's leadership, and was previously an apprentice in OceanClan under Snakestar's leadership before it's destruction.

Amberpaw first met Bluepaw when she is spying on Crookedfoot and leads her away, the next day the two begin to hangout together until Amberpaw sees her father with another cat, causing her anger and a mysterious power to come to her and starts a fire that begins to rage on BayClan's border.
Amberpaw eventually tells Bluepaw to leave her alone.
Amberpaw finally reunites with Bluepaw and later tells her about OceanClan's destruction and how she ended up in BayClan, and also introduces her to Rosewalker and Dogheart.
