Albatrossstar had a sophisticated, calico coat that resembled amber. She also possessed two large, hazy green eyes that frequently reflected the brightness of the rising light. Her upper body was covered in numerous scars, and her ears were completely torn apart. Her voice has been compared in the novel to seals dragging themselves across the ice.
Biography[]
The silent hope[]
- "No, Larchpine. You are also her father, don't you care about her?"
- —Albatrossstar accusing Larchpine The silent hope, ???
- Albatrossstar and Larchpine would have a calm talk, not having noticed that two of her clanmates are watching. She would explain to the WindClan deputy that they cannot continue this relationship. Larchpine disagrees and they start having a mild argument about their relationship.
- Later, Albatrossstar returns to the camp only to get greeted by the body of LuckyFoot. WeedSap quickly went to her sister's side and explained that LuckyFoot presumably tripped, and fell into a river, and drowned. Albatross did not believe that and her gaze went imminently to RedStreak. His fur was drenched in water.
- Albatrossstar then accused him of killing the deputy. Redstreak of course denies the claim but Albatrossstar does not believe it and explains that he has been lacking anyways and that she knows about his little secret. Then, she jumped on WETROCK to announce that he shall be now exiled.
- Forestwing protests.
- Then, next sun high Forestwing runs away. Albatrossstar is in awe of the she-cat. She then notes that she would have probably done the same thing and that she can relate to her. She then also remembered that Forestwing was just made a warrior last moon, 1 moon early. It amazes her. She always knew that the crippled hindleg will not be a problem for Forestwing. She chooses not to choose a deputy yet.
- 1 moon later.
- Forestwing returns and informs the leader that Redstreak has joined BloodClan and that he swears revenge on the five clans. Albatrossstar just shakes it off. She then jumps onto WETROCK to announce that Sparrowflight shall be her deputy.
Starseeker[]
- Albatrossstar thinks she made a mistake making Sparrowflight her deputy because she simply had no leadership skills.
- She also noted that Sparrowflight's relationship with her kits is not the best. Albatrossstar starts observing Forestwing's skills and also once again found herself in this young warrior. She now starts to regret her choice with all her guts.
- She chooses to not act yet. Then, Forestwing warns Albatrossstar that Redstreaks plans on attacking Riverclan
The silents of forever[]
- The rogues attacked. Albatrossstar quickly ran to the nursery and protected the kits from the Bloodclan warriors. A Bloodclan warrior launched themselves at the leader but she managed to fend them off. But the rogue would not back up.
- She is slowly getting more desperate. Then, she launched herself one last time at the rogue and bit into their neck, ending them. She stared at the corpse a bit before trotting away to help the clan fend off the rogues. She noted how Sparrowflight was horrible at commanding the other cats. But, she had no time to think about it because a rogue had a kit by the scruff.
- She pinned them down but the rogue escaped luckily without the kit. She then picked the kit up and brought it back to the nursery to the delight of the queen, Cherryleaf.
- The rogues finally went away. Then, her eyes went over to Forestwing who was standing over a rogue. Redstreak was dead.
- As the clan finally got some rest, she leaped up to WETROCK, having to announce something. She announces that she will be demoting Sparrowflight and that Forestwing shall take over. Sparrowflight protested, saying that she has way more experience than Forestwing ever could have.
- Some cats agreed. Then, Sparrowflight attacked. She did not want to fight her daughter so she just gave up. Sparrowflight took leadership of the clan and changed her mother's name to Uselesseyes and threw her into the prison den.
Stars reborn[]
- Albatrossstar gets freed, then she heavyheartedly chases her daughter out of the clan. The deputy comforts her saying that it was the right choice. It still did not comfort her.
- The moons flew, she did her duties and nothing too special happened. There was just one suspicious cat. But, it was no problem because Forestwing took care of it with death berries. She did not mind; having no idea if what she saw was even real.
- Forestwing went then to the Moonstone to get some important news. She questioned why Weedsap did not go too but she did not bother asking. She felt herself getting sicker even though she was still so young. Her deputy returned and noticed that she seemed sick. She simply explained that it is nothing but Forestwing did not believe that.
- Then, Sparrowstar came back. She tried not to fight her but it was hard. Her daughter finally managed to get a good grip on her mother's neck, breaking it and making her lose one life. She only had one now left. Then, she accidentally clawed at her daughter's eyes, blinding her.
- One moon later Sparrowfeather was laying in the healer's den, Weedsap seemingly being nowhere. She snuck in with a poisoned prey piece. She needed to end this. Her daughter happily ate it. It worked. She stared at the corpse of her kit and raced out. Then, she stumbled into two apprentices. She knew them, they were her daughter's kits.
- They would ask where their mother is but she would just reflect it and race out.
- 2 moons later she is laying in the healer's den, having redcough. Her world started to blur but no Starry pelts greeted her. She woke up in a dark forest.
